RMS ATC5 Auto Transformer Fan Speed Controller

Designed for the speed control of permanent split capacitor fan motors this autotransformer has 5 speed settings and will control motors up to 3amps on the second speed setting(High speed bypasses the transformer) without the creation of noisy harmonics or humming. Unlike some electric control devices the RMS ATC5 brings motor current down as voltage is reduced avoiding current spikes and associated harm to fan motors. Fan motors being controlled must be drawing at least 70% of full load current. Controller enclosures are metal surface mount units finished in cream or grey.
